Ember Day!
Today is the last of the 3 ember days before Christmas...
The Wednesday one isn't too hard, if I remember to do it. The Friday one is somewhat easy because I'm used to not eating meat on Fridays. The third one is torture! Back-to-back, quasi-fasting, no meat two days in a row?! Gaaahhh...

Apps!
If you have an iPod/iTouch/iPad, hopefully you've downloaded some of the Catholic apps out there. I have an iTouch and have downloaded a couple of apps, the iConfess (very nice!), one about St Joseph (okay), iBreviary (I use this often) and a Rosary app which isn't very special.
According to Father V, a new Marian app will be launched on December 8th by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception (National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, Stockbridge, MA). Details here. I'm looking forward to getting it and will post more here after I check it out.
