I haven't mentioned on the blog why I'm down in South Carolina when my husband is in Massachusetts but we'd both been out of work for two years and this job came up and I had to work! We fell behind on mortgage payments last summer and just couldn't get caught up. Luckily our bank negotiated a loan modification for us and we'll be able to keep the house!
